Zero sugar
Leaves glucose out of the formula.
EDMONTON • SEPTEMBER 27
Keep race day familiar. If Best Hydrate is already part of your routine, use the plan you know. If not, make it your low-sugar, not-too-sweet option for recovery and the next training block.
LOW SUGAR, ON PURPOSE
Zero sugar leaves helpful glucose out. Traditional sports drinks bring a heavy sugar load. Best Hydrate hits the hydration middle.
Delivery before tomorrow’s start is not guaranteed, so do not change a proven race-day routine just because a package arrives.
RUN THE RIVER FALL CHALLENGE
Run the River Fall Challenge is September 27 in Edmonton with 5K, 10K and half-marathon distances. A 5K and a half marathon do not create the same hydration demand, so your plan should follow the distance, pace, weather and what you already know you tolerate.
For longer efforts, warmer conditions or heavier sweating, a prepared electrolyte drink can be useful. For shorter or easier work, ordinary water and meals may be enough.
BEST HYDRATE
Best Hydrate uses purposeful glucose while keeping total sugar low. Prepared as directed, it contains 1 g of sugar per 100 mL.
The formula includes glucose, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, citric acid and lemon powder.
Low sugar. Purposeful glucose. Balanced electrolytes.
THE HYDRATION MIDDLE
Leaves glucose out of the formula.
Keeps purposeful glucose while total sugar stays low.
Can bring much more sugar and sweetness than you want from hydration.
PREP → PERFORM → RECOVER
Arrive normally hydrated. Eat and drink what you know. Do not make race morning a new experiment.
Match fluid access to distance, temperature, sweat and course support.
Replace meaningful fluid losses, eat normally, rest and sleep. Then carry the routine into the next training block.
QUICK ANSWERS
No. Race day is not the time to introduce a hydration product you have never used before.
Shorter or easier efforts may need nothing more than ordinary water and normal meals, depending on conditions and the person.
RECOVER → NEXT BLOCK
32 servings. Made in Alberta. Low sugar, purposeful glucose, and not too sweet.
