What is Best Hydrate Electrolyte Mix and what is it used for?

The Mix is dissolved in water, to produce a flavoured or unflavoured Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS). This Solution is designed to be absorbed both rapidly and in a controlled manner, so to restore hydration (water and essential electrolytes).

What is Dehydration?

To function correctly, our bodies require the correct internal balance of water and electrolytes. Sodium, potassium and chloride are especially important. Every day our bodies lose water and electrolytes through urine (toxin excretion), sweat and other fluids. A healthy diet will normally serve to replace these. However, certain conditions (ex. vomiting, diarrhea, heavy sweating) and an improper/lacking diet can lead to inadequate hydration. This is called dehydration.

Symptoms of Mild to Moderate Dehydration?

Sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, decreased urine output {or dark yellow urine), tiredness/ fatigue (lethargy), headache, skin less elastic (white marks appear if pinched), sunken eyes, sunken fontanelle (soft spot on baby’s head), and rapid body weight loss of 2%— 7%, etc.
